As our local craft beer market continues to develop and expand, Oakland United is also evolving and looking forward to building upon the Belgian and German style beers that have served as the foundation of our business. As we plan on expanding our portfolio, we are delighted to announce the arrival of our new Head Brewer, Ian Zachary Powell. Ian’s pedigree includes positions at Drake’s Brewery in San Leandro, Fort Point and Standard Deviant Brewery where his brewing and recipe development skills were honed. Ian’s vision will be key as we develop a new and innovative beer program while we continue to emphasize our commitment to quality and consistency.
We thank our patrons for your loyalty and hope that you are as excited as we are to welcome the new decade with the introduction of exciting, innovative beers. If you’re afraid that we will veer too far afield from our German-style heritage, fear not! Our award-winning core beers will remain an integral part of our portfolio!
