Join us in supporting Oakland Firefighters Random Acts at their 17th annual fundraiser on April 28, 5:30-11:30PM, at the Greek Orthodox Church in Oakland. Funds raised will be used by firefighters to give something back to the people in the Oakland community who are encountered by first responders and are in need. These random acts of kindness provide help and healing for the affected person or family and for the firefighters themselves. Random Acts also supports programs, such as the Oakland Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation, whose mission is education and testing for early detection of cancer in firefighters exposed to carcinogens and toxins during their firefighting efforts.
