Introducing Rye Ruv Ru, Our New Rye IPA Collaboration Brew
Water. Yeast. Hops. Barley. Rye. Time with good friends and neighbors. All are key ingredients to making this great beer known as Rye Ruv Ru. We collaborated with Pacific Coast Brewing and Oak Barrel Winecraft to bring you the latest installment of the Oakland Beer Drinkers Association series: a Rye IPA. A Rye IPA differs from an IPA in that it makes use of -you guessed it- rye in the mash which gives the beer a slightly more spicy taste than its IPA counterpart. Malted and flaked rye, Columbus and Mosaic hops, this beer is full of complex flavor, look for it soon at an Oakland watering hole near you!
