This month’s Pints with Purpose is dedicated to Ales for ALS™, a nationwide program that raises funds and awareness for the ALS Therapy Development Institute, the world’s foremost nonprofit biotech focused solely on ALS research.

All day long, we’ll be donating a portion of proceeds from every drink sold—draft or to-go—directly to Ales for ALS™. We’ll also be featuring guest taps from Canyon Club, Faction, and Fieldwork, local breweries also participating in Ales for ALS™. And of course, we’ll be proudly serving our Andrew Ritter Tribute Beer, the Scrum-ptious Gator West Coast IPA, brewed in loving memory of our son, brother, teammate, brewer, and friend.

Andrew Ritter loved many things—his family, his friends, a good beer, and the game of rugby. He brewed with passion and helped found the Gator Rugby team at San Francisco State University. Andrew had a booming laugh and a signature toast: “Drink beer, slay dragon!” He passed away from ALS at just 31, and his absence is deeply felt across our taproom and beyond.
