Beer Release- Iron and Steel Imperial Stout
October 1

Forged in Oakland’s history, brewed in Oakland today.
In the 1800s, carriage making was a booming industry here, and wheelwrights often doubled as blacksmiths—hand-forging the iron rims that gave strength and durability to every wheel. By 1878, Oakland was home to 25 carriage makers, including Grand Central Carriage Works, right on 12th Street between Harrison and Alice—just up the road from our brewery.
Our Iron and Steel Imperial Stout (9.3% ABV) pays tribute to that grit and craftsmanship. Bold, dark, and resilient, it’s a beer built with the same strength and character that shaped Oakland’s industrial past.
Available on Wednesday, October 1st on draft and in 4-packs to-go from the taproom, or order online for CA shipping and local delivery.
Raise a glass to Oakland’s iron and steel roots—and enjoy a stout as strong as its history.
