Announcing two new releases:
No Sleep ‘Til Oakland Breakfast Porter is our collaboration with Oakland’s Bicycle Coffee. Made with 100 pounds of their premium roast, this porter has big upfront chocolate and caramel notes, underlying the vibrant Bicycle Coffee earthiness that finishes with hints of fruit.
New Oakland Glow Pilsner is the first in our “Linden Street Series,” celebrating our roots as Linden Street Brewery (LSB), which was founded in 2009 in a warehouse on Linden Street. New Oakland Glow is our rebranded Pilsner, one of our original four core beers and voted as the “Best of the East Bay Brew” by Oakland Magazine readers earlier this year (thank you!). The crest at the top of the label also pays tribute to Andrew Ritter, who was our brewer at Linden Street and whom we lost to ALS. As he loved to say, “Drink Beer, Slay Dragon”! New Oakland Glow is a classic German Pilsner, crisp, clean and refreshing, with some expressive noble hop bitterness and finishing with a mild maltiness and floral hop aftertaste.
