Oakland United Beerworks and other small local craft brewers work together to promote the Craft Beer Industry through collaborations on production, sharing of knowledge and a spirit of community. The Jack London Brewing District was forged by a common sense of community by the 4 breweries in the District: Federation, Independent, Original Pattern and Oakland United Beerworks. The Oakland Beer Drinkers Association includes other brewmasters in the Greater Bay Area and works to unite beer drinkers and the breweries they love.
Below you will find our current offerings as well as the results of our previous collaborations. Check back often for the newest brews or subscribe to our newsletter to be the first to know when the first kegs are tapped!

PASSCODE-O-980-24-M
CURRENTLY AVAILABLE
In Oktober, bier is king and it’s our favorite time of the year! In a collaboration with Christian Kazakoff of Moraga’s Canyon Club Brewery, Oakland United is releasing a new Pale Ale. Its name, Passcode-O-980-24-M, traces the ale’s origins from Oakland to Moraga. It is crafted with a killer combo of 100% Admiral Maltings with Ella and Hallertau Callista hops. Pale copper in color, flavors are citrus zest, berries and bread and the aroma evokes berries and tangerine. Available this weekend on tap at the Taproom!

#nofilterbananasplitbock
NOT AVAILABLE
Brewed in collaboration with Arne Johnson of Marin Brewing Co., this is what happens when a couple of old school brewers get drunk in Denver and plan a collaboration. After tasting a few dozen beers at the Great American Beer Festival, what started out being a classic German Weizenbock became a Banana Split inspired brew.
First off, we agreed that beer is our favorite dessert, and neither of us like sweet beer much. So it ain’t sweet, it tastes like beer, and the flavor additions are subtle! German Weizen Yeast gives us banana esters. Chocolate wheat malt and TCHO cacao nibs give us chocolate flavors. Add a little caramel malt, vanilla extract and cherry juice and whaddaya got? #nofilterbananasplitbock #oldgermanbrewersrollingoverintheirgraves #reinheinsgawhat?
