Our friend and colleague Andrew Ritter loved family, friends, brewing beer, and rugby and tragically died from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) at the age of 31. We miss him dearly and brew an annual tribute beer, this year an Apricot Wheat, in his honor. Proceeds from the sale of this beer will support the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), working toward treatments to slow and stop this disease.

Wheat beers are one of the most popular styles that we produce and this Apricot Wheat is another pleasing, easy drinking brew. Please lift a glass and join us in celebrating Andrew’s life with his favorite toast, “Drink beer, slay dragon!” This beer is available Friday, September 9, at the taproom and in our online store.

Join us on Saturday, September 10th (1-5PM), for the Ales for ALS™ Festival at Faction Brewing! Guests will be able to sample beers from 40+ regional brewers while supporting an important cause.  Over the years, these festivals have raised over $250K for the ALS TDI!
