SUMMARY:Beer Release- Redwood Red Ale
DESCRIPTION:In the heart of the Oakland Hills stand the quiet giants that inspired this beer. While the Bay Area is often known for its bustling neighborhoods\, historic industry\, and vibrant cultural movements\, Oakland’s redwood forests tell another story—one of endurance\, renewal\, and deep connection to the land. \nThe most famous groves are found at Aurelia Reinhardt Redwood Regional Park\, where second-growth redwoods rise as living reminders of the ancient forests that once blanketed the East Bay. Long before colonization\, the Ohlone peoplelived in harmony among these trees. Today\, one final sentinel of those original groves—the aptly named Old Survivor—still stands tall\, bridging Oakland’s past and present. \nOur Redwood Red Ale (5.3% ABV) pays tribute to these enduring landscapes with a smooth\, balanced malt character and a deep amber-red hue. It’s a beer that honors resilience and history with every sip. \nAvailable on Wednesday\, October 1st on draft and in 4-packs to-go from the taproom\, and in our online store for pickup\, CA shipping\, or local delivery.

SUMMARY:Beer Release- Iron and Steel Imperial Stout
DESCRIPTION:Forged in Oakland’s history\, brewed in Oakland today. \n\n\nIn the 1800s\, carriage making was a booming industry here\, and wheelwrights often doubled as blacksmiths—hand-forging the iron rims that gave strength and durability to every wheel. By 1878\, Oakland was home to 25 carriage makers\, including Grand Central Carriage Works\, right on 12th Street between Harrison and Alice—just up the road from our brewery. \n\n\nOur Iron and Steel Imperial Stout (9.3% ABV) pays tribute to that grit and craftsmanship. Bold\, dark\, and resilient\, it’s a beer built with the same strength and character that shaped Oakland’s industrial past. \n\n\nAvailable on Wednesday\, October 1st on draft and in 4-packs to-go from the taproom\, or order online for CA shipping and local delivery. \n\nRaise a glass to Oakland’s iron and steel roots—and enjoy a stout as strong as its history.
