Our friend and colleague Andrew Ritter loved family, friends, brewing beer, and rugby and tragically died from ALS (also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease) at the age of 31. We miss him dearly and brew an annual tribute beer in his honor. Starting today, we’re offering a West Coast IPA, named for his favorite cheer, “Drink Beer, Slay Dragon.” A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this beer will be donated to the ALS Therapy Development Institute (ALS TDI), working toward treatments to slow and stop this disease. And join us at the taproom tomorrow, Apr 15 (3-6PM) as we have fun while continuing to honor Andrew. We will have a limited merchandise release, special games with opportunities to win prizes, including competitive pinata-bashing, as well as (of course) beer and the delicious offerings from Pound4Pound Burgers (@POUND4POUNDGRILLEDBURGERS), 4PM-close.
